NRL Betting Tips – Round 16

NRL Betting Tips – Round 16

The NRL seems to have settled down ever so slightly, so let’s jump back in and start to build again. A few ripper clashes around this week, and a few not so. There is money to be made….just where they exist is the challenge.

Brisbane Broncos vs Newcastle Knights

Suncorp Stadium

This game is basically between two teams headed in different directions. The only team the Knights can seem to beat at present is the Bye. The Broncos on the other hand are flying through the tough Origin period with 4 consecutive wins. Their defensive efforts are getting better, and they have some strike power. This is lopsided, and at Suncorp stinks of a belting.

South Sydney Rabbitohs vs Manly Sea Eagles

ANZ Stadium

Really looking forward to this clash. The Rabbits are starting to warm up now, albeit with a few hiccups in between. The Sea Eagles on the other hand we wrote off in Round 2, and while they are still proving us right, there are glimpses that they may make a charge. They were impressive last week, and that’s enough to point to a close one here. Considering this, 8.5 points is huge for a team that should go close to winning outright.

Betting Tip: Manly Sea Eagles +8.5

Odds: $1.87

Stake: 2 units >>> Place your bet here

New Zealand Warriors vs Canberra Raiders

Mt Smart Stadium

What a cracker we have here. Picking a winner is almost impossible, but one this is for sure, scoring should flow. Both teams let points in and both teams can score. The game total is very higher but this mix is potent!

Betting Tip: Game total over 45.5 points

Odds: $1.91

Stake: 1.5 units >>> Place your bet here

Betting Tip: Number of tries over 7.5

Odds: $1.75

Stake: 2 units >>> Place your bet here

North Queensland Cowboys vs Cronulla Sharks

1300Smiles Stadium

Something tells me this will be low scoring and close. The Cowboys are without JT which hurts plenty, but they have the belief in the group and are at home. The Sharks on the other hand are surprising plenty of people and could burst into the eight. Gallen is back and he means a tonne to this team. They will find an extra effort in this one and may just sneak the W. Take the converted try and get in line.

Betting Tip: Cronulla Sharks +6.5

Odds: $1.91

Stake: 2 units >>> Place your bet here

Betting Tip: Game total under 40.5 points

Odds: $1.91

Stake: 2 units >>> Place your bet here

Parramatta Eels vs St George Dragons

Pirtek Stadium

Are the bookies taking the piss here? Either there is something I am overlooking or the odds for the Dragons are crazy good. Yes, the Eels are improved but they lose some key players on last start, and will struggle to penetrate the competitions best defence.

Betting Tip: St George

Odds: $1.72

Stake: 3 units >>> Place your bet here

Betting Tip: Game total under 39.5 points

Odds: $1.95

Stake: 2 units >>> Place your bet here

Sydney Roosters vs Gold Coast Titans

Central Coast Stadium

This game looks straight forward. The Titans have been improved lately but are running out of players. The Roosters are charging and they win this, by possibly plenty. Gee we have to pay for it though!

Betting Tip: Sydney Roosters 13+

Odds: $1.61

Stake: 3 units >>> Place your bet here

Betting Tip: To win both halves >> Either team

Odds: $1.68

Stake: 2 units >>> Place your bet here
