HORSE RACING TIPS – 6th April 2015

HORSE RACING TIPS

The autumn carnival just keeps delivering with a very special card of racing for our Easter long-weekend. Finding winners can be hard, but value is definitely present, especially on a HEAVY 9. Let’s grab it while we can.

PREFERRED STAKING

Outside of getting odds early, the best way to maximise your wins is to have an online bookie that gives you the ‘BEST OF’ markets. We prefer Bet365 because it gives you the BEST of the totes OR the fixed price, and always seem to have the best FIXED odds. BANG!

We recommend placing 1 unit each way on those with suitable place odds ($1.80 or more). Otherwise it is 2 units on the nose or 1 unit for multi’s.

RANDWICK

RACE 2 – Hi World

Loves a heavy track and is very well placed here

RACE 5 – Pittsburgh Flyer

Travelling perfectly and will love the extra 100m on last start win against stronger company. Has to run clockwise here but should be good enough to grab this with the world’s best jockey on her back.

RACE 6 – Ready for Victory

The good old 2YOs. Always a challenge finding the winner. Plenty were waiting to see Ready for Victory race in Victoria, before he ran a ripper in the Slipper. English will be hard to beat here, but if RFV doesn’t run sideways in the straight he will be right in the finish. Should be much better for that run.

RACE 7 – Quick Strike

Buggered the start last time in and motored home. Extra ground will suit and the High Chaps love the wet. Will be in with a chance at massive odds.

RACE 8 – Chautauqua

What a race. The top 3 are the ones. Rupee was off last start so from a perfect draw he will go forward and as usual be hard to run down. Can’t go past Chautauqua though. Couldn’t get a clear crack at the last time, and when he got out…WOWEEE. Better run and he wins this or goes exceptionally close.

RACE 9 – Rudy | Kermadec

Going for two with odds here. Rudy is a deadest duck winning 4 of 5 in the heavy and loves the mile. Forget the past few, he can win here from a nice barrier and with basically no weight on his back. This is a tough race but the odds are too nice to refuse. Kermadec is also carrying no weight and has done nothing wrong the last few. This is also harder and the barrier is tough but he will be coming home and give us some excitement.

Remember to go grab a Bet365 account. They easily offer the best alternate lines to lower your risk and increase value, and the in-play markets are awesome.
