Horse Racing Tips – 27th June 2015
A bit of a stalemate for our horse tips at the moment. After a brilliant start to the year, the wins have dried a little. We are also in between carnivals which can make the races a bit more difficult to predict. Oh well it will turn, maybe today.
Preferred Staking
Outside of getting odds early, the best way to maximise your wins is to have an online bookie that gives you the ‘Best of’ markets. We prefer Bet365 because it gives you the best of the totes or the fixed price, and always seem to have the best fixed odds. Get a Bet365 account here
We recommend placing 1 unit each way on those with suitable place odds ($1.80 or more). Otherwise it is 2 units on the nose or 1 unit for multi’s.
Rosehill (NSW)
Heavy track and even fields make for a guessing game in Sydney today. Hopefully you find a few big value winners.
Flemington (VIC)
Race 1: El Greco
Belted them last start so will be short. Should be winning again though, and giving us a boost to start the day.
Race 3: Refulgent
This race is weaker than the past few where very close. Get’s a weight claim and drops to the mile. Go very close at some nice odds.
Race 5: Nadeem Lass
Drawn well, comes in light in the weights and has been flying home. With a better sit can definitely win this.
Race 6: De Little Engine
Hasn’t done much wrong in past few but just started too late. Arguably not ready last start but should be a peak fitness now and ready to fire.
Race 9: Jessy Belle
Simply put I have to stay with her. Got no favours last start but prior was super. An old favourite.
Doomben (QLD)
Race 1: Real Good
Gave us a chance last start but beaten by a ripper horse. His opposition today look a little below him. Should win this.
Race 5: Rocky King
Looks like he was back to his best last start so I will jump back on. Always leads and has a turn of foot. They will struggle to catch him at Doomben.
Race 6: Hidden Pearl (Value: Our Boy Nicholas)
Hidden Pearl went very close last start and will appreciate leading at Doomben. Our Boy Nicholas is a very smart horse and if he overcomes the barrier will be coming home strong.
Morphettville (SA)
Race 1: Now and Zen
Has moved to the hurdles and no one is getting close. Will be short but any return is better than none. One for the multi’s I feel.
Belmont (WA)
Race 4: Red Ora
Wasn’t suited first up and finished strongly. Step up to 1300m looks perfect and drawn ideally.
Race 6: Trifecta – 4,6 / 4,6 / field
Bit of fun here if you are keen. Sujet and Madassa look like standouts, so for $36 I am going for the trifecta at 100%. You can modify the outlay if you like, but ideally let’s get a roughy in 3rd.
