Horse Racing Tips – 24th October 2015
A blip on the radar on Wednesday with a few disappointing performances. Our boy Bart got us a nice chunk back at the end but still a loss for the day and probably our first in a very long time.
The pinnacle is of course the Cox Plate, but once again there are plenty of other very promising races to keep us pumped all day.
Our horse racing messiah, it still forcing the bookies to re-mortgage their houses at a rapid rate. Feels good!
Let’s make more and more!
To date in 2015 we are 570+ units in profit. That’s $57,000 if you are a $100 punter, or $5,200 for you $10 punters. Not bad at all.
Maximising your Profits
Outside of getting odds early, the best way to maximise your wins is to have online bookies that gives you the best markets. While we use many bookies (and may bring them for best odds), the best of the lot as a single bookie is Bet365.
Get a Bet365 account here and make sure you make the most out of your winners with the following benefits.
– Early fixed odds.
– ‘Best of’ all three TABs for single bets (Win/Place) and Exotics (Trifecta’s/Quaddies)
– ‘Middle tote+’ giving you the best middle tote plus 5%
– ‘Best fluctuation’ markets giving you the best official on-course price
Bet365 also offers the 3 place dividends on early bets when the number of horses is 8 or more. Last week this was essential, as those who placed the multi close to race time missed out because Shiraz ran 3rd.

We would recommend three other bookies to help maximise your horse racing profits. They give a great selection of fixed odds and provide some fantastic promotions on select race days. Definitely worth having if you can manage it.
Ladbrokes >>>> SIGN UP HERE IN 2 MINUTES
Crownbet >>>> SIGN UP HERE IN 2 MINUTES
William Hill >>>> SIGN UP HERE IN 2 MINUTES
We recommend placing 1 unit each way on those with suitable place odds ($2.00 or more). Otherwise it is 2 units on the nose or 1 unit for multi’s.
Remember 1 unit = 1% of your bankroll. So for those of you with a $1000 bankroll your unit will be $10

Moonee Valley (VIC)
IMPORTANT: Depending on your unit stake, check these promotions out and use them accordingly.
Race 1 – Inglis Banner (1000 METRES)
Analysis: Was very solid first up after we received some strong mail. Looked the winner until one last swooper took the prize. Drawn a little poorly but should roll forward and with a finish like last start will be hard to beat at MV.
Tip: Pearl Congenial (1 unit each way @ $7.00 and $2.50)
>Sportsbet promotion Place your bet here
>William Hill promotion Place your bet here
Race 2 – City Jeep Handicap (955 METRES)
Analysis: Drawn a touch awkwardly but hasn’t lost over this track/distance (1 from 1). Seven starts at MV for 4 wins and 3 placing. Will roll forward and be at peak fitness now.
Tip: Tawteen (2 units WIN) >> Bet365 Place your bet here
Race 3 – Alliance Broking Services Fillies Classic (1600 METRES)
Analysis: Just never had a chance last start at Flemington. MV might suit a little more. Will finish strong, just needs some luck to sit handy.
Tip: Don’t Tell Mamma (1 unit each-way @ $6.00 and $2.10) >> Bet365 Place your bet here
Race 4 – Telstra Phonewords Stakes (1200 METRES)
Analysis: Looks to have been freshened for this and is drawn perfectly to get a cosy run in the front few. Something tells me it will be a O’Shea Quinella here, but I will lean the value.
Tip: Demonstrate (1 unit each-way @ $7.00 Bet365 Place your bet here and $2.25 >> Crownbet promotion Place your bet here)
Race 8 – Schweppes Crystal Mile (1600 METRES)
Analysis: I have a feeling the favourite gets into trouble here. Will go back from barrier 3 and while I think he can still win, it might be open to some value. Turn Me Loose was so impressive last week and is backing up. The stable wouldn’t do it if it wasn’t 100%. Will hit the front pack from barrier 1 and gets a nice 2kgs off. This is the one they have to catch. I am throwing in two for value. Both could push forward and they do have the ability. Let’s see.
Tip: Turn Me loose (2 unit WIN @ $5.00) >> Ladbrokes Place your bet here
Value: Rudy (0.5 units each way @ $34.00 and $7.60) >> Ladbrokes Place your bet here
Value: Son’s of John (1 unit WIN @ $18.00) >> Bet365 Place your bet here
Race 9 – William Hill Cox Plate (2040 METRES)
Analysis: The daily big dance. It is so hard to ignore what Winx has done. The big concern is where she sits. If she used barrier 1 to sit forward in the first 6, then she will be hard to beat. Get too far back and she will struggle to pick them up. Let’s trust that Hughy get’s her in the right spot. I can’t leave out The Cleaner and Complacent considering their draws and the fact they will lead and get a head start in the short straight.
Tip: Winx (2 unit WIN) >> Crownbet promotion Place your bet here
Value: The Cleaner (1 unit WIN @ $21.00) >> Bet365 Place your bet here
Value: Complacent (1 unit WIN @ $21.00) >> Bet365 Place your bet here
Royal Randwick (NSW)
Race 8 – Jaycar Electronics Handicap (2000 METRES)
Analysis: If you don’t know why by now then you are either very new or been living under a rock. This is his toughest test, but only due to the weight. Barrier 1 helps and Brodie Loy get a claim. We will double our stakes because he is special to us ha-ha. Why have so much profit and not enjoy re-investing some. If you would rather stay smaller then 1 unit each way. Something tells me he will start longer than $4.25.
Tip: Herne’s Oak (2 unit WIN 3 units PLACE) >> Bet365 Place your bet here
Race 5 – NUGROW ORGANICS QTIS Three-Years-Old Handicap (1110 METRES)
Analysis: Races against much better than this. Will roll forward and be tough to run down at Doomben.
Tip: Wicked Intent (1 unit each way @$4.25 and $1.83) >> Bet365 Place your bet right here
Race 7 – SUEZ RECYCLING & RECOVERY OPEN Handicap (1200 METRES)
Analysis: Loves it fresh and gets a cushy barrier to lead or sit forward. Will take a lot of beating.
Tip: Jumbo Prince (1 unit each way @$8.00 and $2.55) >> Ladbrokes Place your bet here
Race 8- DRIVER RECRUITMENT BenchMark 80 Handicap (1615 METRES)
Analysis: Almost collected the big prize for us last start but looks perfectly positioned here. Stays very low in the weights and gets a nice inside barrier. Will sit behind the leaders and has a turn of foot.
Tip: Col ‘N’ Lil (1 unit each way @ $3.80 and $1.80) >> Ladbrokes Place your bet here
Race 5 – Australian International 3 Day Event Handicap (1000 METRES)
Analysis: HAS put paid to this lot and others easily this prep. Nice low weight here puts her on top again. We might have to pay for it and while it looks like easy money I will not recommend $1.45.
Tip: I Am Gypsy (3 units WIN) >> Bet365 Place your bet here
Race 6 – Bridge of Spies Handicap (Heat 5 of 2015 Spring Series) (1250 METRES)
Analysis: Will be a big improver here second up after a solid hit out. Drawn nicely to sit behind the leaders and proved last prep she has some sprint.
Tip: Roussanne (1 unit each way @ $5.50 and $2.10) >> Bet365 Place your bet here
Race 2 – CONTENT LIVING HOMES HANDICAP (1100 METRES)
Analysis: Definitely owes us after ruining a very big multi. Does look perfectly placed again
Tip: Mississipian (2 units WIN) >> Bet365 Place your bet here
Race 6 – SCARBORO TOYOTA HANDICAP (1400 METRES)
Analysis: Where the hell does Williams get his horses? Another very good horse that has never been out of the placing’s. Unbeaten first up and unbeaten the trip. Chuck on a jockey names Willy Pike and we have as good a chance to win as any!
Tip: Neverland (3 units WIN) >> Bet365 Place your bet here
Race 8 – MUSCULAR DYSTROPHY WA HANDICAP (1800 METRES)
Analysis: We should go close to a pike treble here. Won by almost 6L last start but has to contend with a wide barrier here. Will push forward and as long as there is gas in the tank be very hard to beat.
Tip: Illuminated (2 unit WIN) >> Bet365 Place your bet here
