Horse Racing Tips – 12th September 2015

So last weekend was one of those rippers where we destroyed the bookies and added a huge boost to our profits. Finding $50+ winners is pretty rare, but we will take it that’s for sure.

Probably no huge roughies today that look solid, but there are plenty of great races and solid chances to sink our teeth into. Giddy-up.

We are updating a new results spreadsheet at the moment so we can’t make it public yet, but definitely soon you will be able to see and analyse everything if you so wish. In the meantime we have easily surpassed the 200 unit profit mark and now site comfortably on 269.97 units profit. Bang!

Preferred Staking

Outside of getting odds early, the best way to maximise your wins is to have an online bookie that gives you the ‘Best of’ markets. We prefer Bet365 because it gives you the best of the totes or the fixed price, and always seem to have the best fixed odds. Get a Bet365 account here

We recommend placing 1 unit each way on those with suitable place odds ($2.00 or more). Otherwise it is 2 units on the nose or 1 unit for multi’s.

Flemington (Victoria)

Race 1 – Cap D’antibes Stakes (1100m)

Tip: Petitis Filous (Value: Payroll)

Analysis: Hard to go past the favourite here after winning 3 from 3 very well. Throw in Payroll as a knock out chance at odds. Has a huge turn of foot and has won fresh.

Race 3 – Pin & Win Stakes (1400m)

Tip: El Greco

Analysis: I am off the bookie favourite here and sticking with El Greco. Rarely runs a bad race and he does love the big Flemington track. Will be coming home with a chance.

Race 4 – Danehill Stakes (1200m)

Tip: Ready for Victory

Analysis: Was super first up and arguably should of won that. Won his only start here and Oliver on board with 1kg off is a big plus. Looks the winner to me.

Race 5 – The Sofitel (1400m)

Tip: Yesterday’s Songs (Value: Jacquinot Bay)

Analysis: Hard to ignore Yesterday’s Songs after his first up run, bit Jacquinot Bay can’t be dismissed here. Finished close behind a very smart one last start and will stroll to the front and be very tough to chase down.

Race 6 – Bobbie Lewis Quality (1200m)

Tip: Rich Enuff (Value: Riziz | Worthy Cause)

Analysis: Very very hard to find a winner here, but some horses are real overs. Don’t leave out Rich Enuff after first up second. Boom horse who should improve heaps.

Riziz is great value after some brilliant runs in SA where he destroyed his rivals.

My knockout for the day is Worthy Cause. Looks to have come back a different horse again, and first up did exactly what we thought. 53kg should finish like a rocket and odds are big overs. First start down the straight is the only concern.

Race 7 – Makybe Diva Stakes (1600m)

Tip: Boban (Inside mail: Fawkner)

Analysis: Why not he is sort of family ha-ha, and really done nothing to suggest he can’t win again. We did receive some mail on Fawkner during the week and all accounts are that he is flying.

Rosehill (New South Wales)

Race 1 – Ranvet Handicap (1800m)

Tip: Herne’s Oak

Analysis: No reason to change here. We love him.

Race 2 – Sky Central Kingston Town Stakes (2000m)

Tip: Silverball

Analysis: Knocking on the door after two good runs this time in. Last start was super solid and this race he looks perfectly suited.

Race 3 – Tab.Com.Au Handicap (1500m)

Tip: Sebrina

Analysis: Never got a chance first up and yet only finished 3L back. Extra distance suits and gets the best jockey in the world excuse me! Watch for a very sharp improvement and this could be the value for the day.

Race 4 – Mack Trucks Handicap (1200m)

Tip: Music Magnate

Analysis: Huge first up behind Fell Swoop thank you very much. Should win this.

Race 6 – De Bortoli Golden Rose Stakes (1400m)

Tip: Speak Fondly

Analysis: This is a very tough race but Speak Fondly was massive last start. The girl against the boys, and she gets some weight off. Drawn ideally she will be incredibly tough to outsprint.

Doomben (QLD)

Race 2 – Qantas Founders Museum Handicap (2030m)

Tip: Locks Legend (Value: Hot Saga)

Analysis: Really no reason to suggest Lock’s Legend won’t win again from a cushy barrier. However it is his first try at the distance so there is a little risk. Hot Saga is well over the odds in my opinion and is proven over the 2000m. He will sit back and swoop so watch for him late at odds.

Race 8 – Kangaroo Bus Lines 3yo Handicap (1050m)

Tip: Wicked Intent

Analysis: Looks the class here and will lead from barrier 1 and be very hard to chase down fresh. 60kg is the only worry but over the 1050m it should matter.

Morphettville (SA)

Race 4 – National Jockeys’ Trust Final (1200m)

Tip: Northern Zhar

Analysis: Solid enough first up without blowing me away. Is better than that and everything points to him here is a weaker race.

Race 5 – Ubet Handicap (1050m)

Tip: Brave Journey

Analysis: Loves it fresh winning 4 of 6. Drawn perfectly and comes in very well at the weights. Great chance.

Race 8 – The Highway After Party Handicap (1600m)

Tip: Divan

Analysis: Got a tip on this thing yesterday. Should be winning.
