Adelaide Crows vs Hawthorn Hawks

Adelaide Oval – Thursday 18th June

This game is set to be a tough contest throughout. Both teams are rested and hitting a fit list, especially the Hawks who are almost at full strength. I suspect the Crows will challenge early in front of their home crowd, and may well give them something to cheer about late in the game. Having said this, the Hawks will now be wanting to make their charge to the top 4 to secure a double chance. These are the games they can’t lose, and my thoughts are they get the job done by a few goals.

Multi selection: Hawthorn +20.5 ‘alternate handicap’

Richmond Tigers vs West Coast Eagles

Melbourne Cricket Ground – Friday 19th June

Friday night at the G, and two teams headed in the same direction but with completely opposite preparations. The Tigers are coming ladies and gents, and no doubt if you have a friend who supports them you have heard all about it. They are healthy and should be well rested here. On the other side the Eagles are the half way surprise packet. They keep getting the job done, but a trip to the MCG after consecutive 6 day breaks, and I think the fresh Tigers run over the top. The midfield battle wins this one.

Multi selection: Richmond Tigers +31.5 ‘alternate handicap’

Greater Western Sydney Giants vs North Melbourne Kangaroos

Spotless Stadium – Saturday 20th June

I think the Kangaroos are almost the bet of the week to be honest. But, it is the Kangaroos. They have a history of disappointing when they simply should win. The Giants have suffered some huge losses this week, and while their smalls may still be around, the loss of Mummy, Patfull and Davis really hurts the key posts. All going to plan the Kangaroos should win this by plenty.

Multi selection: North Melbourne Kangaroos +21.5 ‘alternate handicap’

Geelong Cats vs Melbourne Demons

Melbourne Cricket Ground – Sunday 21st June

Was tempted to throw the Cats in for the win here because they should get the job done comfortably. The Dees are hanging out for the break, and the Cats are steaming into form. Stinks of a flogging.

Multi selection: Geelong Cats +7.5
