AFL Challenge Bet 3
We have now doubled our starting balance ladies and gents, so we would recommend taking out your starting $100 and having a free go with the bookies money. If you choose not to then so be it, let’s get that $1000.
This week seems a little tougher so the risk is there. Nonetheless, you got to be in it to win it.
To follow the excitement of the challenges, all you need is a Bet365 account. They offer us a lot of alternate lines only available to this bookie. Don’t be the one that has to take the greater risk. Sign up here to join in the challenge.
Only very rarely will we switch bookies, and typically just to utilise promotional bets. In these instances we will give you an alternative on Bet365.
Carlton Blues vs Hawthorn Hawks
We are throwing this one in just for that little more value to the multi. Traditionally that means it will screw us, but surely not here. The Hawks are better in every position on the ground and in consecutive weeks have demolished their two premiership rivals. This really should be safe by half time, but either way over four quarters the Hawks should run away with a 10+ goal win.
Multi selection: Hawthorn -22.5 ‘alternative handicap’
Greater Western Sydney Giants vs Geelong Cats
GWS are flying at the moment, but I have watched their past two and while they won well, it was a tussle to get there and they do have their lapses. The Cats really aren’t setting the comp alight, but with Selwood back they should be in this for a long way. To be honest I think they win, but it is a 50-50 game in my books. I will be surprised in this team full of so much experience get rolled by 6+ goals when finals are still within reach.
Multi selection: Geelong Cats +36.5 ‘alternative handicap’
Brisbane Lions vs North Melbourne Kangaroos
North Melbourne…..deep breathe. Last trip to QLD they were overwhelming favourites against the Gold Coast and got belted. I am sticking my neck out here and saying surely not again. A few key players back and they should just be too strong for the Lions over four quarters. No doubt the Lions put up a fight at the Gabba, but come on Kanga’s.
Multi selection: North Melbourne +15.5 ‘alternative handicap’
Essendon Bombers vs Port Adelaide Power
The Power screwed our big multi last week, but the Crows have a little more to offer than the Bombers. Plus the emotion in that game created some super efforts, and if anything the Bombers are the opposite. Watson missing in the middle hurts their inside winners, and they just seem to be running out of legs late. The opposite applies to the Power. Last week they stormed home late to just miss, but a score over 110 shows the power they possess. The Bombers just can’t score like that and over 4 quarters I can’t see them keeping up, even in Melbourne.
Multi selection: Port Adelaide Power +18.5 ‘alternative handicap’
